EBLI and Partners Submit Grant Proposal

13May10

We are thrilled that EBLI is a partner in a grant proposal that was  submitted  this week for an i3 Investing and Innovation Development Federal Grant.  The John Corcoran Foundation out of California was the main applicant with the collaboration of EBLI, several Michigan area schools, and SatoriEDU Software Development out of Colorado.  There were 1666 national non-profit foundations, universities, and school districts who applied for the grant; 100 grants of up to $5M will be awarded.   Applicant winners will be announced by September.

The grant proposes a large-scale research study on EBLI in 7 Michigan middle schools as well as computer software development of EBLI teacher training and student instruction.  Keep your fingers crossed for us, as we’re all very excited about the possibilities this project would bring for expanding the reach of EBLI instruction!
